Gareth Bale to Man Utd: Date revealed when Real Madrid release decision on transfer will be made

Gareth Bale has been touted to join Manchester United
The Welshman revealed at the end of the season that he will talk with his agent with a potential exit in the offing.

After scoring twice in the Champions League final against Liverpool, he hinted he could be leaving.

It comes after a season of being relegated to the bench by Zinedine Zidane.

But the Frenchman is no longer at Los Blancos having resigned in a shock move last month.

It has given Real fresh hope of retaining Bale, but reports have emerged that talks are still planned with new boss Lopetegui.


United have been long-term admirers of the former Tottenham star and could make a bid - especially if Anthony Martial follows up his wish of leaving the Old Trafford outfit.

And according to Sport Witness, Bale will hold talks with the ex-Spain boss with a transfer to United undoubtedly in his mind.


However, it will go ahead only when the squad are back for pre-season training on July 16 - the day after the World Cup final.

If he is not promised first-team football, the 28-year-old will demand to leave the Bernabeu side.
