Manchester United players believe boss Jose Mourinho is just one game from the sack after the Red Devils’ 3-0 humbling by Tottenham at Old Trafford.
That is according to the Daily Mail, who say players and staff at the club are discussing the possibility of Mourinho losing his job should United lose at Burnley on Sunday.
The former Chelsea boss is under increasing pressure at United and stormed out of his post-match press conference after the Spurs defeat.
United are publicly still backing Mourinho who has a £15million-a-year contract at the club.

The Red Devils are in crisis mode and, after successive defeats to Tottenham and Brighton, face a fight to save their season after just three Premier League games.
Express Sport understands Mourinho has the backing of the Manchester United hierarchy - but the Daily Mail instead claim he will be relieved of his job if Burnley put them to the sword at Old Trafford.
To make matters worse for Mourinho, United players are reportedly excited by the prospect of Real Madrid legend and three-time Champions League winner Zinedine Zidane taking over.

Manchester United duo Anthony Martial and Eric Bailly are among players scared to talk to Mourinho in the current climate.
That’s according to The Sun, who say morale at Old Trafford is low.
Martial and Bailly were dropped for the Tottenham defeat and both players feel untrusted and unwanted by their manager.
United players are also supposedly baffled by Mourinho’s tactics.
He deployed midfielder Ander Herrera in defence against Tottenham and paid the ultimate price as Lucas Moura struck twice in a 3-0 win.
