Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is reportedly considering making Eden Hazard the club captain.
According to Daily Mail, Sarri believes handing Hazard more responsibility could help convince the Belgium international to stay and avoid the lure of La Liga side Real Madrid.
Chelsea are desperate to keep Hazard at Stamford Bridge and it is believed promoting Hazard to club captain will convince him to remain at Stamford Bridge.
Cesar Azpilicueta and Cesc Fabregas are also being considered for the role of club captain.
